Sydney is one of Australia’s most popular urban destinations, boasting the well known landmarks of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. But go beyond the harbour and you could enjoy a different, trendier side of Sydney.

Surry Hills & Chippendale
Surry Hills is Sydney’s leafy bohemian neighbourhood, with smart cafes housed in old Victorian buildings and cool art spaces in old converted warehouses. Head from Surry Hills to Chippendale and you’ll find some of the city’s most experimental and cutting edge restaurants, down side alleys and industrial backstreets.

Potts Point & Rushcutters Bay
Potts Point and Rushcutters Bay are Sydney’s answer to New York’s Meatpacking District. These neighbourhoods line the central river, where you can stroll past huge naval ships, spot the tips of the Opera House over glimmering waters, and find cool new bars around every corner.

Bondi Beach to Coogee
Head to Bondi and join the locals in the queue outside Bill’s, one of the city’s most well-known brunch spots, just moments from the beach. Then, after a quick surf or sunbathe, you could take the coastal walk to Coggee for some spectacular coastal views right in the heart of the city.

Sydney Harbour & Manley
Start at the harbour early in the morning, and take the commuter ferry over to Manley, for breathtaking water views of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Spend a day in beautiful Manley and enjoy a laid back neighbourhood, boasting amazing real estate, set right on the beach.

Blue Mountains & Hunter Valley
Take a day trip to the Blue Mountains and you will be surrounded by rocky terrains and world famous rock formations, like the Three Sisters, towering over the ocean. From the Blue Mountains you can take adventurous hikes into the bush, or visit farms and collectives selling some seriously good produce. Go further and you could visit the wineries dotted around the Hunter Valley and enjoy sampling a range of Australian wine from Cellar Doors.
